Barish ke baad ki dhoop

Barish ke baad ki dhoop Jaise dhoodh men naha kar aayi ha Jisko bhi chuye uska roop nikhaar layi ha Haryali ko kuch aur hara kar gayi ha Phoolon ke rangon men ek nayi umang aayi ha Pheekhe pade Pedon ke patton men bhi rawani chahyi ha Har taraf ek aseem ujala ha, mann ke antar ko cheerta Ander bahar ki saari chintaon ko jaise har leta Barish ke baad ki dhoop Ek naya vishwas jaga layi ha Prakriti nikhar nikhar kar khud ko vykat kar rahi ha Ek khushi ki kiran mann men bhi jag rahi ha Har rang jaise aur khil utha ha, Apni khushi ko khud ko gehra kar byan kar raha ha Sadak b aaj khud ka jalwa dhikane ke liye, dhoop pi rahi ha auron ko jalane ke liye Khudko jala kar b khush ha dekho Barish ke baad ki dhoop ka yeah kaise asar ha dekho Holi nahi ha fir  bhi rango ki holi le aayi ha, Har rang ne apni dhos jamane ki si kasam khayi ha In sab men gehra to us khushi ka rang ha Jo na dhikne per bhi sabse zyada prachand ha Sundarta ne jaise ek nayi paribhasha paayi ha

Short Journey...

While travelling back home in a metro, experienced life for some time. On my extreme left was sitting a few months old infant and on my right was a man who was may be in the last season of his life. In between were people in different stages of life, felt as if was looking at a portrait of life. The infant was busy in his/her own world and so was the old gentleman. But the stages in between, a family sitting just in-front of me talking and laughing together, some school kids discussing their own stuff and eating from single tiffin, a mix of rice and some veggie which looked yum partially because I was hungry my self. A young man smartly dressed, sure thought he was looking too handsome, one could easily read his expression. Another family adjusting two little kids in a single seat of an adult. It was lovely to see how the elder one held on to the younger sibling so she or he may not fall in spite of being so young herself. Girls are born with motherly instinct. Sadly my tran

This too shall pass......

When life is in chaos and nothing seems to work, Time appears frozen and so are footsteps, Darkness fills heart and sadness fills soul, Cross your heart and remember, this too shall pass. When world seems against us and so does destiny, The sunlight burden shoulders and moonlight burns, Night sky gives wounds and stars don't twinkle, Cross your heart and remember, this too shall pass. When loneliness grips us and friends start to leave, Feeling of worthlessness becomes a friend indeed, Logic of life seems tough to decode and Why is the most used word, Cross your heart and remember, this too shall pass. Hold on, don't give up, keep faith and live, Good times never stayed so shall not tough times, Situation will change and best time will come, but till then, Cross your heart and remember, this too shall pass.

Every Struggle in this world is aimed to achieve Freedom

The first time I read this quote, it kept resonating in my mind for a very long time, as if somebody had just revealed the biggest secret of this universe to me unknowingly. As I continued to think about it, I realized that every struggle whether internal or external is indeed aimed to achieve freedom. Our external struggles help us establish ourselves in this world, prove our worth to this world and keep us moving from one socio-economical level to another. What we leave sets us free but at the same time what we achieve binds us. Our internal struggles help us realize and prove our worth to ourselves. Struggle to become a better human being. In the process we free ourselves from the grips of that old person but cling to the new one. Both aim Freedom from old but bind us to the new. Life binds itself and also frees itself, when its born and when it leaves. We are like experiments of life, we are born , we bond to the world around us and then one day we have to leave everythin

Life is perception and our response to it....

The title that I chose for this blog is from a discourse of  swami Tejomayanada of Chinmaya mission and it just pierced inside me as if he had given my thoughts a perfect expression. With my experiences of life I have come to an understanding  that everything we do, feel, think is relative. It dwells from the experiences we have accumulated by living in the school of life from many lifetimes. It's like a database of experiences from which we draw our inferences using our intellect, like a machine using artificial intelligence but far more complicated to comprehend. As long as we are alive we must respond. The nature of our response may vary based on our situation or learning's from our experiences. No one can escape this response till he's alive and the day we stop responding is the day we are dead. We choose our response based on our comprehension of a particular situation. It's an endless cycle which momentarily seems to end with death of current lifetime, bu

Religion vs Dharam

Everyone who is born on this earth is a 'Sanatan Dharmi' by birth. Religion follows after wards. There isn't a word that defines religion in Sanskrit or hindi. Using 'Dharam' as translation for 'Religion' is a misnomer. Dharam doesn't mean religion, it means 'Righteous Karma'. The principle of Karma is the ultimate and absolute truth in this universe. We all humans and animals are bound by this principle and can't escape its consequences. Sanatan means 'Eternal' and 'Dharam' can be defined as 'Righteous way a man should lead his life'. Sanatan Dharam doesn't push us to pray or mandatorily believe in certain form of God, instead it lays down a path of defined principles following which we can realize God. It doesn't define any rituals or procedures to worship God, it leaves this to the discretion of humans to use their intellect to decide upon the best way they want to realize Him. It stresses on one God
